Mystery Cruise
The mystery cruise is a bit of fun before the weekend’s main event with a scavenger hunt designed to get us all to the final destination. Participation in the event is free and does not require registration.
The meeting place is along Canada St in Morrinsville, enter from Anderson St, from 10:00AM and details for the cruise will be explained. For most of our team it's a mystery as well, hang around for a bit, catch up with old friends and make new ones before we head off at 11:00AM. You will receive a sealed envelope containing details just in case you lose sight of others or if you get lost. The total length of the cruise will be around 150km and we will ensure that there are petrol stations along the route. We will be leaving from Morrinsville and finish in Morrinsville.
To finish off the event we'll meet back at the Top Pub, in Morrinsville at 4:00PM for prizes, food, and drinks.
Drive-in Movie
Join us as we finish off Saturday with a drive-in movie down at the Morrinsville Recreation Grounds. Each year we host a drive-in movie at the grounds of Motorama. The movie we select is always a car-related family-friendly feature so it’s a great night out for the whole family. On the night there are some food trucks to purchase food, otherwise bring your own to enjoy from your vehicle while the movie runs.
Gates for the movie will open at 6:00PM to allow time for people to get into the grounds, get to their parking spot, and get something to eat.
Trucks are welcome to the drive-in movie, access, however, will be by appointment only from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Trucks onsite by this time can remain on site until morning.
The movie will start once it gets dark, usually between 8:30PM and 9:00PM.
Miss Motorama
Do you have what it takes? Step on up and compete with your fellow 50’s, 60’s and Rock and Roll fashion enthusiasts to become Miss Motorama 2022! Novice and veteran pageant contestants are encouraged to join, the more the merrier, with extra emphasis on no experience necessary!
We have a Junior and Adult devision, the Junior division is open for all entrants 12 years and younger, and the Adult division is for all entrants 13 and over. The event is gender inclusive, so please come along and show us who you are.

Registration for the event is encouraged, depending on interest we may not be able to accommodate your entry if you try to register on the day.
